SocialGallery — Terms of Service

SocialGallery is an offline personal-media browsing and review app provided by Sky Azure Apps. Contact: pjake6763@gmail.com.

AGREEMENT AND LICENSE

By using the app, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use it. We grant a personal, non-exclusive license to use the app on compatible devices in accordance with Google Play's terms. You do not acquire ownership of the app's software, branding or artwork. Do not redistribute the app, bypass Android's security controls or misuse it; rights granted by open-source licenses and mandatory law remain unaffected. Children must have any consent required by local law.

YOUR CONTENT

Use only media you own or have permission to access and share. You retain your rights to your content; the app does not grant rights to third-party content. Local notes are private writing, not a public messaging service. Do not use the app unlawfully or attempt unauthorized access to another person's media.

REVIEW AND SAFETY

Review every selection before Android's trash confirmation. Keep independent backups of important media and notes. Android/gallery providers control trash retention, recovery and synchronization. We cannot recover provider-deleted files or promise cloud copies are unaffected. Selected file sizes are not guaranteed storage savings.

BACKUPS, COPY AND SHARE

Exported metadata backups are readable and not encrypted by this app. They do not contain original media. Restore merges eligible notes/favorites and replaces disclosed settings only after confirmation. Missing or changed references may be skipped. A failed restore may merge some records before a settings write fails; retry is intended to be idempotent. Copy and Share are explicit user actions; clipboard, storage providers and receiving apps have their own rules and terms.

LIMITATIONS

Recognition supports Latin-script photo text and may miss or misread words. Check important text against the original. Metadata can be incomplete. Permissions, unavailable/corrupt media, device codecs and Android restrictions can affect operation. No guarantee of uninterrupted, error-free operation or zero playback startup time is made. Nothing here limits consumer rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

Components retain their respective licenses and terms. Open-source notices list this build's resolved runtime dependencies and supplied license/notice texts. Google ML Kit and Play Services are Google SDKs, subject to their applicable terms, not represented as wholly open-source. Your use of external apps/providers is subject to their terms.

ONE-TIME PURCHASE, REFUNDS AND REINSTALLATION

SocialGallery is sold as a paid app through Google Play. The price, currency and applicable taxes are shown by Google Play before checkout. The payment is not a recurring subscription; there is no free trial, in-app purchase, renewal or in-app paywall. All currently included features are available without additional payment. Google Play controls payment processing, refund eligibility and reinstallation using the purchasing account. Your statutory refund and consumer rights are unaffected. Reinstalling does not restore private notes/settings unless you have a compatible exported metadata backup. A one-time purchase does not promise perpetual hosting, compatibility with every future Android version or indefinite updates.

AVAILABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY AND SUPPORT

We may provide updates to improve safety, compatibility and functionality, and will not knowingly remove paid access contrary to applicable law. Features depend on compatible Android versions, codecs and permissions. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without additional warranties; we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from misuse or failure to keep backups. Nothing excludes responsibility for fraud, intentional wrongdoing or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory consumer protections prevail.
